At Legacy Daycare we specialize in childcare for children ages six weeks to three years old. That is to say that when your child turns four they will receive a diploma saying they graduated from Legacy Daycare. We use a preschool curriculum specifically geared towards ages 2 to 3. This allows us to focus more on the younger age group of children we have in our care, and therefore betters the childcare experience for all involved. We recommend children 4 and up attend a preschool program more specialized help before kindergarten.
Legacy Daycare runs on a teacher schedule. That does not mean you need to be a teacher to have your child attend! We do have current parents that are not teachers. We are open late August through the beginning of June. We are closed Thanksgiving and Christmas break. We are open during Spring break and are never closed on snow days. |

Enrolling and/or reserving a future space for your child at Legacy Day Care is simple. (1) Contact us to schedule a time for you and your child to visit us in our home. We will be happy to answer any questions that you may have. During your visit, you will have the opportunity to meet me and learn more about what we have to offer. This time spent gives all involved an opportunity to get to know one another and to make sure that all personalities mix well. This is important and helps to ensure that both parties are comfortable with their surroundings and expectations.
(2) After which time the registrations process may begin; consisting of a parent handbook, parent/provider contract, and various enrollment forms. Once they are read, completed, signed, returned, and the deposit has been paid, your child's space has been reserved. The deposit is equal to two weeks of childcare costs and is credited towards the last two weeks of your child's enrollment. (3) And final step is to simply decide on a start date. |
